Noli Studios for Exchange Students
A flexible, move‑in ready studio that feels like home from your first day in Finland. Stay for your semester, meet new people and live easy in a space made for exchange life.
Live like a local during your exchange
Coming to Finland for your exchange and looking for a place that feels like home, not a random dorm room? Noli Studios gives you a flexible, fully furnished studio with the comforts of home you find from apartments, but with added hotel-like services and an easy way to meet people in a new city. It is an extended-stay concept that sits nicely between a traditional student apartment rental and a hotel.
At Noli, you stay in a serviced studio that is move-in ready from day one. You have your own space, your own kitchen and your own front door, plus shared spaces where you can work, hang out and get to know other people.
Our studios are designed for longer stays, not just quick weekend visits. That means practical layouts, storage for your stuff and the essentials you actually need for everyday life as a student.
What your studio setup typically includes
- A move-in ready studio with bed, table, storage and smart layout
- A full kitchen with real cooking equipment, large fridge, stove and oven, so you are not living on microwave food all semester
- Access to shared coworking and study spaces, ideal for group work or quiet laptop time
- Gym access in-house, so staying active is easy even in Finnish winter
- Laundry facilities and practical shared areas for day-to-day life
So instead of hunting down furniture, buying kitchen basics and dealing with second-hand everything, you just unpack and start living. This is if you choose our fully furnished studio; if you do stay longer and wish to either bring your own stuff or get some that make you feel even more like at home, you can go with our more affordable lightly furnished option.

Community, events and help when you land
Moving to a new country alone can be exciting and also a bit overwhelming. We build Noli around community and connection so you do not have to figure everything out by yourself.
Our communal spaces are designed for social life: lounges, shared kitchens, coworking areas and common rooms where people naturally meet. On top of that, we host events where you can get to know other guests, many of whom are international students, young professionals and people new to the city.
You also have friendly Noli hosts on site. If you are not sure how something works in Finland, need tips for the area or want to understand local habits, you can always ask. Think of them as your first local contacts.
Perks exchange students tend to love at Noli:
- Events that make it easy to meet people outside of your own university bubble
- Shared spaces that are actually used, not just “nice-to-have” rooms no one visits
- A mix of locals and internationals, so you pick up both Finnish tips and global friends
- Hosts who can point you to the nearest supermarket, tram stop, cafe to study in or running route
- A social environment where it is totally normal to start a conversation with “Hi, I just moved here for exchange”
Flexible stays for one semester or more
Exchange semesters are rarely one-size-fits-all. Some people stay 4 months, some 6, some end up extending.
Noli is built around flexible stay, not fixed long-term leases.
- You can match your studio stay to the length of your exchange semester
- If you extend your studies, you can just extend your stay instead of starting a new housing hunt
- You avoid the classic 12-month rental contracts and complicated subletting drama
Noli works well if you are an exchange student looking for an apartment in Helsinki, Vantaa or Espoo without being locked into a long rental agreement, while still having a real home base instead of just a room, for the whole semester.
Which location is the best fit for you and why
Noli has several locations in the Helsinki region with great connections to Aalto University, University of Helsinki and Metropolia to name a few:
