Noli is home for many different life situations. Singles and couples in their late twenties or early thirties testing a new neighbourhood. People in between homes. Expats landing in a new country for the first time. Business travellers on longer projects who want more than a hotel corridor.
If you have just moved from another city or country, community matters even more. Knowing you can go downstairs and join something, instead of spending another evening alone in your room, makes a big difference. We want you to feel like you belong here long before you know the streets by heart.
Live independently, never isolated
You always decide how social you want to be. Some days you just close the door and enjoy your studio. Other days you work in the shared spaces, hit the gym, or join an evening event and end up talking with people you would never meet otherwise.
The point is not to force community. The point is to make it easy, natural and close. When you are ready, it is already there waiting in your own building.

Your studio is your base. Cook in your own kitchen, sleep well, leave your stuff where you like it. It is your private place.
When you step out, your home keeps going. Hundreds of square metres of shared lounges, common kitchens, co-working areas, gym, sauna and more, all there to extend your living room. Your space suddenly feels much bigger than your four walls.
In traditional rental living in Finland, it is normal not to know your neighbours. At Noli, we quietly disagree. We build our houses so it is easy to bump into people, say hi, stay for a coffee and slowly get to know the faces around you.
Why community matters
We are all more connected than ever, but often only on screens. Moving to a new district, a new city or a new country can feel strangely lonely, even when the building is full.
Noli exists to change the way people live. Personal space and shared experiences both matter. You need a home that feels safe and yours, but also a community that makes everyday life lighter. That is what “room to live” and “room to belong” mean for us in practice.
If you are staying for work, studying, on an assignment or just trying out a new city, your building can be the easiest place to find your people. You should not have to start from zero every time you move.

Life feels lighter when your home gives you room to live, belong and breathe. That’s the idea behind everything we do.
Shared spaces that invite you in
Every Noli location comes with thoughtfully designed shared spaces. Comfortable seating, long tables, quiet corners for laptops, open kitchens for casual dinners. Nothing too formal, nothing too staged. Just spaces that feel like an extension of your own studio.
You can work in the co-working areas, meet a friend in the lounge, or read a book in a corner with a coffee from downstairs. The idea is simple: the more time you naturally spend outside your room, the easier it is to meet other people who live under the same roof.
Monthly events in every house
To make it even easier, we organise community events at all our locations every month. No pressure, no name tags. Just relaxed get-togethers where people can show up as they are.
Events are there so you can:
- See who you are living among
- Learn your neighbours’ names, not just their door numbers
- Try something new without crossing the city for it
You can come with a friend or walk in alone. Either way, you will not be the only one.
